Technical Note: Local Server Caching
Where possible, ADEW cache the rss files on the local server when they are first loaded. When the rss file is next required, the system checks to see if there is a new version, and if not, uses the locally cached version, rather than getting the version from the source.
Result - improved site performance
The result of this is better performance for your site - particularly if you have a lot of visitors, because the server is only getting the full rss file when it changes, rather than every time your rss pages are viewed.
Restrictions
Unfortunately not all web servers support caching, so it may not be possible to configure this. ADEW's site supports this, however.
