ADEW has 10 years commercial experience in programming web site and software solutions, and starting off writing C++ solutions for the TV industry.

Skills

ADEW use the industry standard languages to develop - these include ASP, PHP, JavaScript, .NET and C++ with Microsoft SQL Server, Access and mySQL databases, along with XML and other standard technologies.

Types of work taken on

Whilst it isn't possible to produce a complete list, here are some examples of outputs that ADEW have been involved in recently.

Web Development

Be-spoke Systems - e.g. taking input parameters from customers, and working providing quotes for the customer's requirements.

Content Managed Solutions - client has control of the content of their site, using a user name / password protected area, and a Word-like interface online to edit the HTML - little or no HTML knowledge is therefore required to use.

E-commerce Solutions - various e-commerce solutions.

Where possible, ADEW will recommend an off the shelf solution, as this can reduces costs / improve reliability.

Software Development

Desktop applications that are 'Total Cost of Ownership' applications, used by sales force in front of customers, taking input parameters and output tables and graphs showing results.  This data can also be output to PDF files.

Windows Services, processing data.  For example, taking new records, processing them, and re-saving them.

Comms applications.  E.g. processing GPRS data (as a tray icon application), serial comms etc.  ADEW can provide class libraries too, as well as full blow applications.

Other be-spoke systems.

Putting the client in control

ADEW strive to put the client in control of their data, using password protected admin screens.  This means you can update your content without paying ADEW to do it, where practically possible.

IP rights / Confidentiality

IP rights are assigned to the client, and client confidentiality is respected.
