Working with Designers

ADEW often work with designers, allowing them to outsource specialist development skills without needing to employ a programmer themselves.  This means they can offer their clients a broader service, by offering additional services such as web site database integration.

ADEW are very experienced in taking designs from designers in either an image or HTML format, and adding the programming / database end to these files, and then configuring on the client web site (or sending client files & instructions to upload, as required).

ADEW are also very experienced in offering technical advice on what can be done in terms of implementation, producing fixed price quotes, attending meetings etc.  Your clients need not know that you have outsourced the skills, if you would prefer, ADEW are equally experienced in not contacting your clients directly, see confidentiality, and assign IP rights to the client, read more.

Case Study 1

Secure Area, allowing users to upload files
A designer approached ADEW, wanting to provide a 'secure area' on one of their clients sites, so users could create folders on the site & upload files. On consultation with ADEW, the designer produced sample HTML pages with design on, and asked ADEW to advise on best implementation method, and produce fixed price quote.  ADEW did this, and the quote was accepted.  The 'secure area' pages were developed on a temporary site, and once the designer was happy with implementation, ADEW uploaded and configured files on live site, and it went live.

Case Study 2

Rewriting a Content Management System for large corporate company
A design company approached ADEW who had a new business contact - a large corporate company that needed a fairly complex Content Management System rewriting.  The design company approached ADEW for advice and development assistance.  ADEW provided advice, went to a meeting the end client, discussing the technical implementation, and proposed a solution, via a fixed price quote to the design company. 

The quote was accepted, ADEW implemented the Content Management System, and integrated into new site design provided by designers, and assisted designers to get site up and running.  The design company would not have got the project had they not outsourced the project to ADEW.

Case Study 3

Complex Bespoke Development on Existing Site
A design agency contacted ADEW who were redeveloping a clients web site, but required complex bespoke development on site, to take data, process it, and sell products. The site also downloaded sales data into their local database.  ADEW provided technical advice, provided fixed price quote, attended meetings, configured test server, advised other technical people involved etc.  This is an ongoing project.
