ADEW are able to offer advice and/or assistance in developing either new systems, or upgrading existing systems, from a technical point of view.  Sometimes ADEW can assist with any development that comes out of this too.

Outputs

On analysing your requirements, ADEW will be honest and say what is technically feasible, and is feasible but impractical, what pitfalls there could potentially be etc., and, where possible, cost indications, all based on ADEW's 10 year commercial experience in developing and supporting systems.  ADEW may also be able to develop a solution, or find someone who could.

Customer base

ADEW's customer base is commercial companies, typically offering products, solutions etc.

Examples

The precise advice given depends on your requirements, and ADEW will document all that is discussed.  Examples of consultancy that can be provided are enclosed below, although other types are quite possible too.

Example 1: Creating an online e-commerce solution

Advice on how to 'go on line', how to put your product database on line (possibly integrating your existing product database with the online version automatically), how to put customer discounts online in a 'customer login area', automatically integrating orders into your existing order management system etc.

All this would depend on your existing systems setup, ADEW would analyse this, and communicate with you on the best solution, producing written documentation.

Example 2: Creating desktop 'Total Cost of Ownership' application for sales team

Total Cost of Ownership applications are used to show how your products are most cost effective over time, compared to your competitors.  ADEW have assisted several companies to date, by advising on how to create a Windows Desktop application, taking parameters, and producing graphical results, and outputting to PDF.  ADEW can also develop these types of applications too.

Example 3: Outputting reports automatically to documents (e.g. PowerPoint), and publishing on the web

ADEW have assisted in advising what types of documents can be automatically created from an existing database.  For example, PDF, PowerPoint etc., and then writing the solution, and integrating with existing web site.
